The server I resurrected to host the #HardenedBSD auto-sync service suffers from major clock drift, doesn't matter if I use ISC ntpd or OpenNTPd.

Sync is supposed to be run every six hours, but due to clock drift, that's certainly not the case. Every 6 hours, it loses 1.5 hours.

@jerry Yup. That's a major part of why that server was retired. Pretty sure that hardware is on its very last leg.

@lattera @jerry I have ever so often had machines with that kind of problem, not in a SUPER long time though; what is the machine configured to use for its time source?
