Finally managed to clear out enough hard drive space to upgrade my Mac.

Deleting Xcode is such a weight lifted (“I will never do mobile dev again!”), but be wary all the many gigs of files it leaves behind, hidden!

@skulegirl XCode is like the most developer hostile IDE I have ever experienced. It will randomly decide that it will upgrade itself and your build tools will fail because you now need to reinstall a bunch of its components.

@david Yes! And I hope you have at least 75G of hard drive space to devote to it, and infinite patience to figure out what the cryptic errors mean.

I don’t know how anybody successful develops Apple apps.
