I grew up on the original Star Trek, and wanted more.

Star Trek: TNG was not what I hoped for, but it turned out okay.

DS9? Clearly not what I wanted, but was pretty cool.

Voyager? Meh.

Enterprise? Such high hopes. So not what I wanted. Turned out fair.

Discovery? Good, but not what I wanted.

Picard? Also good. Also not what I wanted.

I have waited over half a century for Strange New Worlds.
