So, I'm gonna be writing some systems automation code. Manage and create VMs and their networking stacks based on config files.

Which would you choose: #golang or #python?

@lattera I'd go with python (or another interpreted/dynamically typed language). For systems work speed of iteration for changes for me is more important to optimize for over raw performance of the runtime.

@david @lattera No REPL, of course, but compilation in Go is really fast.
